Mr. William Henry "Red Foley" Cole, 74, departed this life on Wednesday December 14, 2022 at Carver Rehabilitation and Living Center in Durham, NC. He was born July 23, 1948 to the late Alexander Cole and Estelle Reese Cole. He was a native of Prince George County. He was educated in the Prince George County School System. At an early age he confessed Christ and was baptized at Little Mount Baptist Church, Disputanta, Va. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Bertha Jackson and Thelma Williams, and brothers Joseph Cole and Samuel Cole.
He is survived by a son Alfonzo Mason (Yvette), daughters, Angela Claiborne (Carl), Felicia Walker, and Erica Johnson (Shannon) along with very special children who he spoke of often, Lawrencia Taylor, Latrese Taylor, Jermaine Taylor and Lawnaray Taylor; brothers, James, Benjamin, and Christopher Cole; sisters, Bettie Neverson, Ida Scott (Clarence), Rose Jones (Herman) and Diane Dillard; sister-in-law Shirley Cole; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends, to include a devoted niece, Kimberly Raigns.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday December 29, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Joseph M. Johnson & Son Funeral Home, 530 South Sycamore Street, Petersburg. (804)-863-4411.
