Ashly Adams Obituary
Ashly Lynn Adams, age 28, of Lake Station, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019. She was born on December 13, 1990 in Munster, Indiana. Ashly was currently employed as a manager at Dunkin Donuts, and had worked there for the past fourteen years. She liked shopping, especially going to thrift stores. Above all, she loved her three children and cherished the time she spent doing activities with them.
She is survived by her mother, Tina Thomas; her beloved children, D’Angelo Adams, Amiyah Guzman and Gianni Guzman; sister, Natasha Adams; nephews, Jack and Xander Adams; aunt, Connie (Petar) Jevdosic; uncle, Paul Thomas; many loving cousins, family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Adams; and her aunt, June Saxinger. Memorial contributions in Ashly’s name may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
A funeral service will take place Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Ave., Lake Station. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Cremation will follow services. For more information, please call (219) 962-1606. Ashly is a beautiful and devoted mother and friend. She is beautiful inside and out. Ashly shared so much love and friendship with so many people. She always made people smile and her laughter was contagious. Taken too soon the Lord has another angel by his side. She will be watching down over her family and friends from on high. My heart hurts. Back in the day you used to dress me like a school girl & we used to hang out all the timee when we were kids. As we got older things changed & we had/lived our own lives. Family gatherings were always so fun with your goofy self. You didnt care what anyone had to say about you & did what you pleased to do (burping at the table on Christmas) You were just being you & that never changed. You were so real. Not fake at all. You loved those kids with everything you had & my heart hurts for all of them. Youre truly going to be missed Ashly. I have no words for all these passings in our family lately. Ashley was the sweetest young woman, When Id get my coffee from her and would ask her how her Munchkins (her kids) were doing, her face would always light up and shed share a little story about them.
