Sonny, you will be missed, but never forgotten!!!!! You are now in a much better place. You will now have the best seat in the house to watch all of the Yankee games. Your jokes and all of your wonderful stories will never be forgotten. 5th Street Shell will miss you so much, but we all know you will always be there with us. You were 5th Street Shell and always will be. May you Now rest in peace and God Speed Sonny. Larry Beasley

Sonny Wood was a great man who inspired everyone he met. I am proud to be a friend and neighbor of his. GOD bless his family during this time of need.
May they know that he was respected and admired by all who knew him.
My prayers go out to the family.

Steve, I know it's hard as I've been there, but the comfort I had was knowing that they are in a far better place than we are. Dad, Uncle Sammy, and Uncle Sonny are together again to laugh, and joke around like they did when they were here with us. Love you! Stay strong.
