Auburn "Auz" Kennedy Jr. II, 47, of Marianna, Pa., died Sunday, May 6, 2007, in Allegheny General Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born June 19, 1959, in Washington, Pa, a son of Auburn Kennedy Jr. and Patricia Cursi Kennedy of Scenery Hill, who survive. Auburn was a graduate of Bentworth High School Class of 1977. He worked as a drilling supervisor for Cursi Drilling for more than 17 years and previously worked for Lambert Drilling. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Cameron, W.Va., Bentleyville Eagles, Polish Club of Bentleyville, Lithuanian Club of Bentleyville and the Operating Engineers Local 66. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing and NASCAR. On March 4, 2000, he married Bambi Harvey Kennedy, who survives. Surviving, in addition to his wife and parents, is one stepson, Brian Young of Muse, Pa., one stepdaughter, Bonnie Young, of Marianna, two brothers, Randy Kennedy and his wife Cheryl of Scenery Hill, Grant Kenedy and wife Diane of Cokeburg and two nieces, Emily and McKenzie Kennedy. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 1 to 9 p.m. in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, Pa., where services will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Church of the Bretheren Cemetery, Marianna, Pa.
