Harlingen - Robert "Bob" Eugene Thomas, 94, passed away on February 23, 2016 at his residence in Harlingen, Texas.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Bob moved to Florida where he invested in real estate plus many other ventures, and was a claims manager for State Auto. Upon retiring he moved to San Benito, Texas. He and his wife Annette traveled extensively for many years.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Edna Thudium, his father Eugene Bodenschatz and his wife Annette.
He is survived by his half-brother, Charles N. Thomas of Harlingen, Texas.
Bob had very dedicated and loving caregivers for many years and they say; "I thank God, in all my remembrance of you", Robert "Pops" Thomas. "You will always be my baby bird"-Hilda; Rest in Peace in God's hands, we love you always-Hilda, Nina, Pat, Crystal and Joshlyn.
Bob willed his body to medical science, thus there are no formal services.
