Audrey Farmer Leigh

STANTON - Audrey Farmer Leigh, 58, widow of Monty Leigh, passed peacefully into eternal rest on June 29, 2012 at her home after a long battle with MS. She was born on August 28, 1953 to Faye Morton Farmer Garrett and the late Lester Farmer. She is survived by her mother Faye Garrett and by her step-father Charlie Clay Garrett, her sister and brother-in-law, Jim and Sandy Hall, Stanton, and her brother and sister-in-law, John and Linda Farmer, Winchester, as well as several nieces and nephews. Audrey was a former Cost Accounting Manager with GTE of the Southeast in Lexington, KY and Durham, NC. She later became Director of Financial Planning at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, OH. A 1971 PCHS graduate, she earned a BBA in Accounting at MSU and an MBA at Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. She passed her CPA Examination shortly after graduation and was a member of the National Association of Accountants. Audrey was a member of the Baptist church and attended Bowen First Church of God. Visitation begins at 5pm Sun and her funeral service will be held at 2pm on Mon, July 2, 2012 at Hearne Funeral Home Chapel, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY.
