Audrey Neal Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 7, 2016.
A modest, quiet and observant person, Audrey Ann (Belle) Neal took in everything around her and always enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a loving person who truly cared about those around her.

Audrey was born on September 1, 1963 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Clarksville, IN. She was the daughter of Gene & Gladys Pedigo.

Preferring a quiet environment where she could concentrate, Audrey also had the ability to relate well with her family and friends. Audrey was raised with two siblings, Wilma and Timmy. Audrey was constantly involved in activities with her family and deeply cared for them as they shared many life experiences over the years.

Love can't be defined but must be experienced. That was so true for Audrey. She was committed to Tony and maintained traditional ideals about marriage. It was as if Audrey naturally sensed her spouse's needs, and accepted those feelings unconditionally.

Audrey was exceptionally good to her children and grandchildren. She was blessed with two children; son, Michael Neal, and daughter, Christy Neal Marlin. She was also blessed with seven grandchildren; Tyler, Taylor, Chase, Calie, Ava, Bailey and Cade.

Audrey was a sports fan and enjoyed watching Titans Football whenever she got the opportunity. She also loved to travel, and one of her favorite vacation spots included Key West, FL.

Audrey passed away on April 6, 2016 in Springfield, TN. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Tony Neal; son, Michael (Micah) Neal; daughter, Christy (Scotty) Marlin; father, Gene Pedigo; sister Wilma (Scott) Layman; grandchildren, Tyler Marlin, Taylor Tubbs, Chase Marlin, Calie Marlin, Ava Neal, Bailey Neal, and Cade Neal; nieces, Lindsey Pedigo, Kimberly Chapman.

Services were held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, and Audrey was laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

She will be greatly missed.

Belle-Your gental graces are second to none. Our family was blessed to have such a beautiful aunt, sister, daughter, mother, grandma, and wife to Uncle. You were a vibrant and compassionate soul who brought joy to every life you touched. Audrey and I were friends in high school and as I was in Park City visiting last week, I thought of her (although we lost touch with each other around 1982-83).

After I heard of Audrey's passing last night, I took out my Senior yearbook and reread the sweet, full page she had written to me. I wish life hadn't of gotten in the way and we had kept in touch through the years. She was such a sweet person and will be greatly missed.

Prayers for all her family & friends.

My sweet Belle, I love you so much. Your light my have been dimmed but will shine through the people you loved. You were a Angel on earth and now in heaven. I know with all my heart, you will watch over us. I will miss your kindness, your tender ways and patience, your beautiful face and the love and grace you gave even when you didn't have to, so very proud to be called your daughter. You left us way to soon, with plenty left to do. I wasn't ready for you to go, I need to tell you one more time how much I love you, appreciate and admire you. My babies miss you dearly and will every day. GOD gave us an Angel here on earth but only for a little while. You will always be our sweet, beautiful Belle
