August Herbert Marquardt

Born in Bloomington, Illinois Herbie was a Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle, he moved to the Golden State of California almost 60 yrs ago, Herbie was a Police Officer in Bloomington, Illinois, a Veteran and he had many other jobs in California including working for Renes and Lamberts Van & Storage where he had the opportunity to meet a few Hollywood Celebrities, he did some bartending which he enjoyed, he was a friendly and outspoken person and Loved the "Santa Anita Race Track" he is survived by a son, daughter, 2 stepdaughters, 6 grandchildren, sister, brother, nieces and nephews. Herbie appreciated the help he received later in life from his close neighbors and other friends, he passed away at the age of 86 and will be missed by all.
