My heartfelt condolences are offered to the family, many, many friends, colleagues and devoted fans of Ray Jacobs (August 08). Ray Jacobs (August 08) was a singer and songwriter who co-wrote the chart-topping hit "I'm the One" for DJ Khaled. He was greatly admired by his fellow artists and all those who knew him. May the love and many, many special memories you shared with your devoted loved one show how much your life was touched by him. May the God of comfort bless your grieving hearts with strength, loving kindness and peace as the world copes with the loss of Ray Jacobs (August 08). May his music and legacy keep his memory alive forever.

My family and I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Ray Jacobs (aka August 8). The world has lost another gifted musician who had the talent for singing and his love for songwriting. He touched the lives of many. There is no doubt that he will be missed by all who knew him personally and professionally.
May you find comfort in knowing that God is aware of your pain, and may he give you the strength needed to continue on this journey of life. And please know that God cares, and he keeps those who have passed on in death in his memory, because all are precious in his eyes.

I met August in 2019 (although I'd seen him perform many times prior). I had just moved to Long Beach and we realized I was staying in a home just a few houses from where he grew up. He came by and showed me around the town and we talked all things music and he shared some of his new tracks with me. He was so kind and this day and a few others we shared will be such fond memories for me! I went to see him perform in Portland when he opened for Rich Brian's Sailor tour... epic show! What a huge loss! You will me missed and remembered fondly my friend! Rest in peace!
