Auntie Emma Bridenthal
January 10, 2017
This is auntie Emma, with much love and tears I begin writing this message. With August 's voice and laughter fresh in my mind. I remember her infectious laugh and beautiful smile. My dear sweet niece it is no wonder that you loved butterflies so much because they truly remind me of you, for they are beautiful and full of color and bring joy to those around them. butterflies pass away early in life and just like you sweetheart your life was way too short but at the same time have impacted so many who love you so much but now it's time for you to be safe in the arms of Jesus forever in peace. You will be greatly missed. Love your auntie Emma

This is August's aunt Sonya. I just recently started talking with August after several years. I could tell she loved family and wanted to get to know this side of her family more. Her voice and beautiful smile still fresh in my mind. August was loved and will truly be missed. May she rest in peace and I lift her family up in prayer.

A prayer from a mother to her daughter:
There were 4 things August loved butterflies,
sunflowers and her 2 daughters Bailey and Trinity.
August was my butterfly, fly butterfly to endless
love, endless peace, endless joy, no more pain,
no more hurt, no more anger. Fly high into our
Father arms and feel the love you always desired
feel our father amazing grace and endless love.
I will miss you so much daughter but I know I will
see you again fly fly fly high into the sky. Love mom

I met August when I was at my lowest. It was 15 years ago. I had just left my abusive husband and was living in an apartment complex with my two small children. I met her at the community swimming pool and we quickly became best friends. She was a light in my time of darkness. She will always be one of the best people I knew. Her heart was made of gold and she would have given me the shirt off her back if I asked. I wept so profoundly when my daughter gave me the news of my dear friends death. I had not seen her in two years but often wondered and prayed that she was ok. My heart breaks for her family. My only consolation is that August is in pain no more, she is where she was made to be, with God, her maker, who loves her unconditionally and flawlessly. She now knows her worth and unrepeatable beauty, and flys with the angles happy and free. I love you August!! With great love, Lucy Lemmons
