Austin Hargrave-Evans Obituary
Austin Michael Hargrave-Evans departed this life on Saturday, May 22, 2021. He was born February 2, 2002 to William T. Evans III and Marika Hargrave.
As a young man, Austin attended Greater Faith A.M.E. Zion Church where he sang in the choir, served as a youth usher and on the praise dance ministry.
Austin was preceded in death by his great grandfather, SGM William T. Evans, Jr.; grandmother, Gloria Hargrave; great grandmothers, Jennie Tucker and Katie Hargrave.
Austin leaves to cherish his memories his parents, William T. Evans III (LeTarchia) and Marika Hargrave both of Petersburg, VA; brothers, Jordan, Aaron, Jamal, and Isaiah Evans, Alexander and Justin Hargrave all of Petersburg, VA; grandparents, Jacqueline Evans, Patricia Jones, Roy Hargrave, and James Holden, Jr.; great grandmother, Mary S. Evans; uncles, C. Evans and Leon Tucker; aunts, C. Evans, Lyshenea Tucker, Jocnita Williams, Bertha Hargrave, and Celestine Hargrave; great aunts, Cheryl, Charita, and Maria Evans; special friend, Crystal Wyche; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends too numerous to name.
Services will be held 3:00 P.M., Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, the Rev. Barbara Merriweather, eulogist.
