Austin James McKinney 23, passed away Saturday July 10,2021. He was born in Indianapolis to Ronald Ray McKinney and Sandra Ware Prophitt. Austin was a painter and worked for A Ray of Light Painting of Indianapolis and he liked to fish. He is survived by a brother Robert "Bobby" McKinney and three sisters Destiny Prophitt, Isabella McKinney and Khloe McKinney, grandparents Ron and Julie McKinney, Steve and Debbie Green and Carrol and Terry Moore. Visitation will be Thursday July 15,2021 from 1 PM until 4 PM at Hendryx Mortuary Cumberland Chapel 11636 East Washington St, Indianapolis IN, 46229. A Celebration of Life Service will start at 4 PM. The family has requested memorials to the Autism Awareness Foundation. ( [email protected] 800-609-8449 ). Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.hendryxmortuary.com. Hendryx Mortuary is honored to be assisting the family with the arrangements.

Austin was Koy’s very first friend at Holy Name. The two boys shared a bond that will remain forever. My heart goes out to Ray and all of Austin’s family. May Austin find peace and comfort with God.
