Austin Peterson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 12, 2012.
Our sweet little busybody with auburn hair and bouncy curls, Austin James Peterson, returned to his Heavenly Father on June 12, 2012. He was born July 12, 2009 in Payson, Utah to James William Peterson and Anajean Warner. Austin was an amazing boy and we feel lucky to have known him for the past three years. He was very kind and considerate, especially with Grandma. He was his Momma's little buddy. He always had a treat in his pocket and preferred sweets and fruit to eating his dinner. Austin loved bugs, spiders, and worms, and he loved to play at the park and go on long walks. Bubbles were his ultimate favorite activity. He always wanted to be where the action was especially when playing with his cousins. He loved running through the house having shoot-outs with his Mom. Austin gave the best hugs and especially loved his Great Grandma. He always knew how to cheer you up. He was wise beyond his years and was a very smart, stout boy. He couldn't wait to go to school with the big kids. He loved to sing and listen to Bob Marley. He had a zest for life that he shared with everyone. Austin leaves a void that can never be filled and we look forward to the day we will be reunited with him once again. Austin is survived by his mother, Anajean Warner; his father, James (Shayna) Peterson; a brother, Tyler Paul Weston; grandparents, Steven (Lorraine Hiatt, deceased) Warner; Kevin William Peterson; and Sherrie Pungarcher; Grandma Great, Betty Hone; and many aunts, uncles and cousins who adored him. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the East Meadows Ward Chapel, 1552 East 750 South, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and friends may call at the church on Monday from 11:45 a.m. until 12:45 a.m. Interment will be at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
