Janet and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Earlier this week I was thinking it was about time for me to see my favorite guy, then I hear today I heard he passed away and it broke my heart! I’ve been thinking about him and your family ever sense. I ALWAYS looked forward to seeing Austin with you (his dad, or whoever else would accompany you) at lab. Austin was a very special soul! And even though he never really spoke to me, I know he enjoyed that I enjoyed being in his company! I will always remember him as my favorite patient, the sweetest man with the handmade play-doh hands. He most definitely will be missed! Thoughts and prayers to you and yours!!

As your colleagues in the Autism community and early roommates in Austin's House, we are crushed to hear of his passing. It is promised that we will see them again. We must believe in that promise. God bless.

Luke and Janet, so very sorry for your loss! Please allow me to say as a grandfather of 2 precious autistic boys whom I long to fully understand as I'm sure they long to be understood, I can see your sweet Austin rejoicing in the presence of God where he "knows and understands just as he is perfectly understood" (1st corinthians 13:12) . Austin has finished the race! I am eager for the day that he is standing at the gates of heaven to welcome you both into the kingdom! I love you both as I both weep and rejoice with you! You are in my prayers.
