My heart goes out to Tanya and to all of Avon's friends and family. Avon was always an Uncle to me. I enjoyed all the times we went camping together, spent our holidays together, and much more. Im glad to have been a part of all the new things he saw and participated in the last five years of his life. I will always remember him and all his smiles, laughters, jokes, and esspcially his love for his friends and family.

To The Laing Family,
My condolences are with each of you during this time. I will always remember Mr. Avon (POPZ),, he was a very kind man, great sense of humor; when ever I came in town, I had to make sure I stopped by to see him, If I didn’t and he found out about it, wouldn’t hear the end of it (smile). It was a pleasure meeting Mr. Avon, he will never be forgotten. I pray God give the family strength to go on and guidance to make It through. Here is a little poem:
I Do Believe
There is nothing i can do,
to make him come back
There are no words I can say,
that can replace the words you long to hear
There are no answer's I can give,
that will satisfy your questions
There is not another soul I can introduce you to that will ever replace his
And, there is no love I can offer that will ever replace the love you shared
I can not promise your broken heart will ever be complete
I will not say it could have been worse
I will not deny it was a tragedy
I will not lie and tell you he will come back
He never really left
I do promise he hears you when you speak
I will say he loves you no matter the distance
I will not deny he is in a better place
And, I will not lie; he is waiting to greet you someday
He is every you step you take
He is in everything you do
He is the air you breathe
He is every beat of your heart
" He is like the wind. You can not see him...but you will always feel him within.
With love,
Faye and Family

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

My heart goes out to Tanya and all of Avon’s family. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I will forever be grateful to have known Avon.
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord

Tanya, you and Avon's family have been in our prayers. What a great loss! Avon was such a wonderful and special person to us. He was a very good man. He was always thinking about others, especially his family and those grandbabies. We will never forget and will always cherish all the wonderful times that we spent camping together and on holidays. He loved and enjoyed everyone that he came in contact with. He is at peace now with his Lord. Thank you for sharing him with us.
