I am so saddened to hear of Mrs. Abshire's passing. I will always remember my fun times with you, Sabrina at your parents home in Westlake. Your mother was so beautiful. Thoughts and prayers for you and Gavin during this difficult time.

So sorry for the lost of Barbara Abshire. She was such a talent and wonderful person I had the pleasure of working with at the Louisiana Department of Education. May God hold Barbara's family in the palms of his hands.

My good thoughts and prayers are with Barbara's family. She was a valued and highly respected member of the Louisiana education community.

I am so saddened to hear of your mom's passing. She and I had such good times together when we worked at the Department of Education! I think we went out to eat together almost every night...and we always had a glass of wine (or two) to celebrate making it through the day!! She was a dear friend and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

May God comfort you all and give you a peace. I will always have great memories of my childhood with Barbara keeping Sabrina and Gavin in line.
