To my Mother Barbara.

It´s 3 years today that you went home to heaven and it´s the first time I´ve been able to write this message.

You were the love of my life. You were a wonderful Mother and my best friend! You were always there for me, our family, and friends. Anytime anyone needed anything you were there!

You taught me well. It´s because of you that I´m a strong independent woman today.

You were an amazing woman with such grace and talent. You cared for all those you loved and passed on the wisdom you gained from
Life´s experiences. You were always the voice of reason.

Your love for entertaining brought many together and created wonderful memories. You nourished many with your wonderful cooking. You knew you were in Babs house when it smelled like home. Especially when she baked from scratch or cooked a Sunday or a holiday meal. Those baked stuffed butterfly shrimp on Christmas Eve were the best! And your knack for wrapping gifts was awesome. It always looked like it was done professionally. You always made it look so easy wrapping at the dining room table. And your talent for sewing was also unmatched. Like Nana Crowell and Debbie. You always sewed beautiful outfits for us when we were kids. You genuinely cared for others and would always help any way you could.

You always rose to any occasion, whether it was a good or bad circumstance, you always found the courage to step up and handle any situation with grace. You were always straightforward with those around you. You always stood tall and remained calm and confident in dealing with difficult situations. You made smart decisions in life and learned from those that weren´t. You weren´t afraid to be a strong independent woman even when married.

All of that and much much more are what made you the woman you were on Earth. And the Mother you were to our family. And now your soul lives on. Thank god your light shines through everyday to help me and others carry on.

It was an honor to take care of you and love you the way you did for all of us in the past. I miss you so much Mom! Rest in peace with Rudy, Gary & the rest of our loved ones on the other side.

I thank God every day that I was blessed with such a beautiful woman who was my Mother, my Rose, and my Best Friend!

Love and light always,
Tracy
