Barbara BALLANTYNE Obituary
1959 - 2015
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the premature passing of Barbara Ballantyne on Monday, April 13, 2015 at the age of 55, in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Centre in Hudson, QC. In mourning are her beloved husband Steve McNally, and their two dearly loved and lovingly devoted children, Emma and Timothy. Also bereft are her loving parents Michael (My-Trang) and Terry Ballantyne, as well as her dear brother David and sisters Bridget (Bill), Martha (Richard), and Sarah (Nou). Her memory will be treasured by her uncle Sean Gahan (Joyce), her niece and nephews, as well as those many friends who will cherish the memory of her kindness and laughter. The family wishes to extend its sincere thanks to all the staff at the Care Centre. Their unceasing, sensitive, and reassuring attention was greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten. A Celebration of Barbara's Life will be held at a later date.

i had not seen her since our high school reunion in 1991, but reconnected with her online. such a beautiful smile, one that radiates love, compassion, joy and light. i know that she brightened the spirits of all who came into her life. much love to all her friends and family.
