Barbara Bradley Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 12, 2025.
Barbara Ann Bradley (née Carroll), age 86, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Born on January 22, 1939, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Barbara lived a life marked by compassion, resilience, and unwavering love for her family and community.

Barbara was the beloved daughter of John and Helen Carroll. Throughout her life, she carried with her the warmth and strength instilled by her upbringing in Philadelphia. She later married Joseph Bradley, with whom she shared many cherished years before his passing.

A devoted mother, Barbara is lovingly remembered by her four children: sons Kevin Bradley and Terrence Bradley; daughters Janice Kenlan and her husband Joe, and Colleen Lippincott and her husband Tom. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren-Joshua Rieves and his wife Leah, Rhiannon Bradley, Emily Rieves, and Alyssa McNeill and her husband Stevenson-as well as her great-grandson Andrew Rieves.

Barbara was a breast cancer survivor whose courage inspired those around her. She channeled that strength into advocacy and support for others facing similar battles. As a proud participant in several cancer fundraising groups, she brought joy to many as a member of Clown for the Cure-spreading laughter while raising awareness for cancer research.

Her deep love for animals was evident in every aspect of her life. Barbara dedicated herself to animal rescue efforts and fostered numerous dogs over the years. Her home was often a haven for animals in need, reflecting the boundless compassion that defined her spirit.

Those who knew Barbara will remember her ever-present smile and infectious laughter. She had an extraordinary ability to make others feel seen and valued-a true friend to all who crossed her path. Her kindness left an indelible mark on countless lives.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Bradley; daughter-in-law Kristine; and parents John and Helen Carroll.

A memorial service celebrating Barbara's life was held on April 10, 2025, in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
