Barbara Clark

RAYNHAM——Barbara (Daurie) Clark, 93, of Raynham, formerly of Easton and Taunton, died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Life Care Center of Raynham after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Leroy Clark. Born in Boston, a daughter of the late Roy and Myra (Lohnes) Daurie, she was raised in Boston and was a graduate of the Boston Public Schools. A resident of Easton for 50 years, she moved to Taunton over 25 years ago. She began her working career with the Ames Shovel Shops of Easton during WWII working in the shovel handle division. Later she was employed at the bakery counter at the former Fernandes Supermarket in Easton. A past member of the Browning Club of South Easton, she enjoyed traveling and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Barbara is survived by two sons, Robert Clark of Merrimack, NH., and Steven Clark of West Yarmouth; a brother, Arnold Daurie of CA.; three grandchildren, Betsy Maynard of NH., Brian Clark of West Yarmouth and Kristie Soderberg of West Yarmouth; six great grandchildren, Logan, Molly, Emma, Emma, Avery, and Daisy; also survived by nieces and nephews. She was also the grandmother of the late Charles Piona and sister of the late Mildred St. James And Mabel Fuller Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday morning from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton followed by a funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral Home.
