Barbara DAVIDSON Obituary
May 19, 1928 - July 19, 2014
Jean was a proud Calgarian, devoted wife and mother, avid curler, golfer, and sports fan. A social person with a genuine interest in people, she lived a full life, a life filled with family and friends, laughter and love. She is predeceased by her husband Tom and grandson Patrick. She is survived by sons; Tom (Linda) and Cam (Barb), grandsons Tom (Charmaine), Simon (Kirsten), Cam and Shawn (Kristen), and great-grandchildren Rafe and Caper. While her loss is mourned, her memory is celebrated by those who loved and knew her. In accordance with Jean's wishes, there will be no service. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared with Jean's family through www.evanjstrong.com. In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully received at the Salvation Army Agape Hospice (1302 8 Ave NW Calgary, AB T2N 1B8; telephone (403) 282-6588; website www.agapehospice.ca). I first met Jean when she was a volunteer grandmother at the Rt. Hon. Joe Clark School in High River. The children loved her! She took special time with each of the children and was held in high esteem by all the staff. She became a dear friend to me personally. Hugs Noreen Stroud
