In Memory of Harold Hamon
 You never realize how much you really care about someone,until they are gone.
 All their silly jokes; their grins and "bugging" amoungst all of the good things he was known for. You are greatly missed by everyone,
especially your brothers; sisters and their spouses . We know you are with God and are finally at peace. (A Job Well Done)
 Love Always: Godfrey-Kathy

One year has past since you went away;I was in Japan on the end of the phone letting Karl and Irene know I and my family were safe;when Karl told me about your accident. I wanted to come home but they said to stay with my family; but I though of you as a special "brother". You always made me laugh! you were good for my sole. My dog new you were a good person;he was smart! Now when I think about you sometimes smiling;sometimes teary;I miss that your not here because of all that you were to us(Irene,Karl and me) your jokes and humour;straight talk; overwelming kindness to all-didn't matter who! These last few days,We've shared thoughts and laughter.We miss you dearly;but you are not far away-probably eavesdropping on every conversation we have;sharing the laughter!Busy being a special Angel watching over us. We miss you!Gone to soon from this earth but in our hearts and minds always . Eternal Rest my friend.

Dear Harold; I will remember a man that cast a big shadow and a had a heart as big!Your zany sence of humour;your laughter and the very special talent you had for always helping others-no matter: what, when, or where.
 You were definately one of a kind. I enjoyed my times inconversation with you and I will surely miss the calls ending with,"ok dear",talk to you later. So sweet, always kind; never asking for anything even from those who knew you best. Our loss is great but it is also your release. Go peacefully; may you soar with the Eagles for you are one. You can watch over us as you have always done; and we will never forget you.
 To Irene and Karl; others share your sorrow.To the Hamon Family my deepest sympathy. A Good man is gone! But He left behind so much Love and So many Memories What a wonderful Legacy.!!
  Loved and respected like a brother;

 fathful dog "Lucky"

Somewhere it's said that the truth about a man lies somewhere between the worst and the best said about him. If that's true than Harold was second to no man. He was a true gentleman. We should all strive to be like him. Thanks for all your help Harold as many have already said you were always there when we needed you, if it was within your powers you did what ever was needed and never complained, no matter how bad things got you kept that smile. For all the times I forgot to thank you Let me say it now. Thanks Harold, some people you just never forget they stay in your heart forever. God speed

I had the pleasure to meet Harold when I wanted a tow in langley back in the mid 90's. I called one company who wanted $100 to move a trailer 3 miles. I called Hamon towing and Harold said 'no problem, $40 will do it'! He did several tow jobs for me in the 15 years since and was always friendly and ready to 'get the job done'. The last time to take my trailer from cultus to langley and back for a new roof we had to plan it between his dialysis treatments at RCH. As usual he was chatty and friendly and 'got the job done'. His memory will live on in the many who knew him over the years as a classy and professional business man! Rest in peace buddy! My best thoughts to his family!

Words can't express how deeply saddened & shocked we are at the tragic passing of our dear friend Harold. We have had the pleasure of knowing Harold for more than 35+ yrs. He did all our towing when my Hubby's customers ever needed assistance. No one else would even be considered! You could call on Harold anytime. Day, late night, weekends, holidays, snow storms...it didn't matter! He always responded with the dependable "No problem...I'll getter done for ya." When he saw me, he always greeted me with a "Hi Sweety or Hi Darlin', how's it goin'?!" And even though he had to be at his next job 10 minutes ago, he always stayed to shoot the breeze with us, catch up on the latest news & ALWAYS concerned about how we were doing. What a very special guy. Our deepest sympathies go out to the entire Family, Harold is one of those rare people who is one-of-a-kind & irreplaceable. We will miss him terribly. May you rest in peace Harold. Till we meet again.
