Barbara Drago Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 13, 2018.
Barbara Lee Drago, age 81, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 2, 1937, in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, to parents James L. and Ruth (Porter) Kennedy. Barbara moved to Ravenna at an early age and attended Ravenna Schools. She retired in 1997 from General Electric after 25 years of service.

After retirement she and her husband Carl moved to Gulf Breeze, Florida, where they lived for 20 years, until recently moving back to Ohio. Barb enjoyed cooking for family and friends, and hosting holiday dinners. Christmas was always her favorite time of year. She also enjoyed boating in Florida and at Muzzy Lake, and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Barbara is survived by her beloved husband Carl L. Drago and her daughters: Beth Ann (John) Roosa, Annette Marie (Mark) Wrentmore, and Leigha Marie (Nathianel) Robinson. Gram's memory will also be cherished by her grandchildren: Jeremy (Jennifer) Roosa, Jamie Lee Roosa, Chad (Jessica Hopperton) Wrentmore, and Tara Wrentmore, as well as her great-granddaughter Minnie Mae Roosa.

Barb's wishes for cremation are being honored. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life on Saturday, November 17, 2018, from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at the American Legion Post 331, 109 Elm St., Ravenna. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to a charity of your choice in Barbara's memory.
