Barb will always be in my memories as such a caring wife, mother, and grandmother. When our family visited from the West Coast, she always made us feel so welcome. John and I enjoyed laughing and spending time with she and Art. We will miss her.

To Art and family,
You have my deepest sympathy. I will forever hear Barb's laughter in my heart. She was always my "go to" person at work. We worked in different towns but were might as well have been in the same room maybe even sisters. She taught me so much about being a secretary and a friend. No matter what the situation was, she always made me laugh. She would have done anthing to help me and I felt the same way about her. We always made sure we went to the same in-service meetings at work, I could count on her for making those meetings much more fun. When we talked about things other than work she always spoke of you all with so much love. Her eyes danced whenever she told me about all her vacations with the kids, what great fun she had. Those memories will hold you through the difficult days ahead. I know she is safe, warm and pain free in Heaven, watching down on everyone she loved. I will miss her.
From one of many of her friends, Janet

Dear Art,
We are so sorry for your lost of your dear wife, Barb. Susie Summers has kept me in touch since our move up here. We always had hope with every message that there would be a better outcome, that the two of you would really retire and also grow old together.

Barb was always professional in every way. When the new Buffalo School was being built, she loved to give a tour of the school.

I learned first hand that Barb had a heart. She helped me through many phases of my life. I was very touched to hear from her on my birthday last summer, to see her beautiful handwriting was truly a gift.

Our thoughts will be with you as you go through this very difficult time.

My most heartfelt sympathy on the death of Barbara. I remember her as a most caring and loving mother who always tried her best for her family. She never forgot you and always had a friendly word and time for a visit whenever we would meet. I'd love to come and give you all hugs in person, but Mission is just too far away. My prayers are with you all.
