Barbara Ann (Sorbin) Faust, 70, of Loretto, PA passed away from Alzheimer's disease Thursday, September 15, 2025 at home with her husband, Mark. Last names from previous marriages were Donoughe, Hollen, and Bee. Barb was born July 5, 1955 and was raised most of her young life in Clarksburg, PA, the daughter of the late Fredrick George Sorbin, Sr. and Anna Jane (Painter).

Also known as Barb or Barbie, she was recognized by her gorgeous locks of curls and known for her quick-witted remarks. Her Saltsburg High School graduating class of 1973 yearbook noted that she disliked bullies as she was a compassionate person and always stuck up for underdogs. Before the unexplained loss of her vision in 2018, she loved playing FarmVille, reading, and gardening. Barb was inseparable from her beloved dogs throughout the years.

She is survived by her three children: Jennifer Veazy and her husband Tim of Gallitzin, Jacqueline Wallace of Richmond, VA, and Jason Hollen and his wife Jessica of Ashville; four grandchildren: Jeffrey, Jr. and Jordyn Schmidt, Breona and Alex Hollen; two great-granddaughters: Rosalie and Freya; three sisters: Diana Fisher, Terri Cardellino, and Linda Reiter along with four brothers: Frederick, Jr., Kevin, Dennis, Brian, and Timothy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara had a direct cremation at the Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cresson.
