Cousin Marie, Joanne, Kathy, and Colleen, today we received the shocking news from our Aunt Eleanor Vincent. Barbara was the same age our mother Helen was when she passed away--way too soon! On behalf of all Ralph Lodde's kids please know that all of you are in our thoughts during this sorrowful time.

We all shall miss Barb terribly, we all loved her dearly. She is in no pain now, you all watched over her at all times and now she will watch over you, she will always be with you. David, You were her one true love. Always seeing the best in everyone, she made me a better person. She was part of the fabric of my life, and it takes my breath away to think of life without her. I will never forget the times we spent together through the years at "County", cheese dip, Murf's special Chef Boyardee pizza, the famous pyrawa canoe, and all our birthdays we shared together. Her life was way too short, but our lives were better because of her. During my last conversation with her to say good-bye, I told her we would be with her in a "twinkleing of an eye." As an old friend of Barbara's sister Kathy, I was saddened to hear of the families loss. Grateful to know that this is truly a beautiful and strong family that will help each other through this sad, sad time. Kathy spoke all the time of the closeness the "Murphy" sisters shared and I feel honored to have known of them. My heart goes out to you all.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. As you probably are aware, I'm currently living in Phoenix Arizona. Barb and I had been corresponding while Kristin was living in Tuscon, and we both were expecting grandchildren at the same time. Barb and I started working at Fine-Lando Clinic the same week along with Marge Armstrong. I can't tell you how sad I am to hear of her passing. In the words of St. Francis of Assisi "It is in dying that we are born to eternal life", I am sure Barbara is in the loving hands of our dear Lord.
