Barbara Kubota Obituary
Barbara Kurtz, 71, of Ridgewood, NJ passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014.
She was born in Lancaster, PA, on August 28, 1942, to the late Caroline and Claire G. Kurtz. Barbara graduated from Penn State University and subsequently received her master's from Adelphi University. She married Hideki Kubota on August 10, 1968.
Barbara was a beloved member of the Westside Presbyterian Church of Ridgewood, NJ and belonged to the Ridgewood Women's Club. Barbara was an avid world traveler.
She is survived by her daughter Asuka Nina Kubota and her partner Hideki Kubota.
A viewing will be held at C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 between 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, with a service at 8 PM. www.vanemburgh.com
