Barbara Prynoski
August 22, 2018
I only found out today (August 22, 2018) that Barb had passed away. Barb and I attended Marple-Newtown High School together and I was later fortunate to be her sorority sister at Penn State University. I also had the great fortune to know Jack. They were so in love. I left PA a couple of years after college and never saw her again. Some people, though, stay with you and she was one of them. She was the cutest, the nicest, just the best! If any of the messages still are forwarded to family, may I send the biggest hug to Jack and Barb's sons.
Love, Barbara Nealis (Prynoski)

Having received my "Penn Stater" magazine today, I was saddened to read Barb's obituary. I met Barb while dating, later marrying, one of her sorority sisters. Although it has been over 50 years since that time, I remember her as one of the sweetest and genuinely kindest people I met at Penn State, or since, and I am the better for it.

Barb meant so much to me when we were in Delta Zeta together at Penn State. She was a great chapter president and an inspiration to all of us. We had so much fun in our college days. Her family is in my thoughts and prayers today.

My many Penn State Delta Zeta sorority sisters and I fondly remember Barb from our college years when she served as sorority president.

Barb was my big sister in Delta Zeta sorority at PennState. She was always an inspiration to me. I remember the fun pick up bridge games that we would play when we could get four people together. Barb organized a summer DZ reunion a couple of years ago which was great. My deepest sympathy to Jack and the rest of her family.

I remember so well when I was just married some 40 years ago. I didn't know much about anything in those days, let alone cooking. My new husbands friends had all been married for some time and had kids. In those days there were always parties at each other's homes and everyone always brought something to eat. I was so nervous at the thought of bringing something. From those most earliest years of my marriage, Barb always made sure she would give me the recipe of something I liked or Alain liked. They were always beautifully written on cards and my recipe box is full of her recipes......mostly desserts!! Alain and I will always keep you near and dear to our hearts.

I knew Barbara from Pilates. She always spoke so lovingly of her children and her cherished grandchildren. And she always asked about my children. We frequently traded recipes and shared a love for cooking. I was blessed to have known her. My sincere thoughts are with her entire family.
