Barbara Lowe

Barbara Bennett Lowe, 67, of Blytheville, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born to T.N "Tom" and Robin Bennett, Barbara was retired from the Mississippi County Collectors Office. She was an avid volunteer at the Blytheville Humane Society. Barbara knew no strangers and was a kind, loving, and encouraging person. She always took care of others, whether it be calling just to check on them or to give them some encouraging words. Her life was centered around her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Barbara leaves her husband, Jim, of the home; children, Stacey Lowe of Blytheville, James Lowe, Jr. and wife Tasha of Greenville, Illinois, William Lowe and fiancé Hollie of Blytheville, and Mike Lowe and his fiancé Celeste of Blytheville; brother, Tommy Bennett, Jr. and wife Treena of Blytheville; sister, Charlotte Staggs of Marion, Arkansas; grandchildren, Justin, Carson, Autumn, Aidan, Trevor, Tailyn, and Braylen; great-grandchild, Andi; and lifelong friends, Don and Carla Martin of Jonesboro. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 13th at 3:00 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marilyn Webb and Rev. Fred Wright officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Blytheville Humane Society, P.O.
