I am Matthew Driesbach, Grandson of Barbara. Everyday I think of her and wear the necklace she gave me every single day. She always made me smile, laugh, and learn. I will forever miss her and God bless her as she walks the stairs to paradise.

Barbara was one of the first people I met when I moved to Pennsylvania. She made me fell welcomed. We went to many Phillies games together. Always had good conversations to and from the games. She had a great sense of humor. She will continue to be missed! RIP my friend.

I remember Barbara´s first day at Seven Dolors like it was yesterday. We lived a block away from each other and became great friends. We grew up together and shared so many childhood memories: ice skating at "the govy", dancing to bandstand, walking to Chestnut Hill Water tower, creating slam books and getting in trouble with the nuns! Barbara had the best sense of humor and the kindest heart! She will always be in my heart.

I met Barbara through my sister-in-law Delores who was her best friend from their grade school years. She became my very dear friend also especially since I met her at a time when I was going through difficulties. She helped me cope with life in so many ways through those difficult days as I was also a friend of Bill´s. Barb was younger than me but so much wiser in so many ways. I will always hold our friendship in a special place in my heart. Love and caring to Jennifer and Bill and their families.

When Barbara was at Philadelphia General Hospital (PGH) training to become a nurse, we lived about 8 miles away in Delaware County. She would come and stay for the weekend and we were all thrilled. My Mom was her Mother´s sister but they were not raised together. They became closer as they grew older and we all loved Aunt Grace and Uncle Larry and their kids. Barbara was a ray of sunshine. She was funny and full of energy. There were ten kids in our family and she would talk my parents into having a date and she would babysit! I am younger than Barbara, but even as our parents passed on, she would often call me to see how the family was doing. My prayers are with her family as I know her absence will leave a big hole in their lives. She will be missed.

I have so many special moments with aunt Barbie. But some of my favorite moments were just me, her, and my grandmom (her sister Grace) watching Golden Girls together and just sharing genuine laughs. I'll cherish them forever!
