Barbara was 7 and I was 6 years old in the second grade at St. Joseph's School in the West End, we both lived on Poplar Street and became friends and that friendship lasted 74 years. We spoke on the phone almost every day for the last 20 years...we laughed and cried through the years as our lives went on.

Barbara was one of the nicest, good hearted, generous, funny and honest persons I have ever known. She was the sister I never had...and I miss her! Love Always to my dear dear friend. Carol

It is with a heavy heart that I express my sincere condolences for the loss of Barbara. I had become very close to her and cared for her very much. She was a good friend. I know that she loved her family and little Molly. I am so sorry for your sudden loss. I am grateful that she was not alone when she passed and that her daughters were with her to comfort her and each other. I will miss her always.
