Barbara was such an incredible mentor, coworker, and friend. During my time getting to know her she provided empowering advice, guidance, and her own perspective on situations at work that could be stressful. I will miss her kindness and spirit, she was such a light for the women at our firm and she will be missed dearly. My thoughts are with her family during this time.

Even though she lived on the other side of the country from me, when we got to see each other it´s like we were never apart. Every stranger was a friend with her, and our adventures together were always memorable. This year she came to Arizona twice, once for my daughter´s bridal shower and of course Spring Training, then in June for the wedding and more fun. The most beautiful memory will be her dancing at the wedding and the live band we saw in Munds Park. She even had one of the elderly locals out dancing with his cane. I could write multitudes about each time we got together over the last 7 years, but I´ll keep those memories close to me. Words cannot express my heartache, and my sincere condolences to Barb´s friends and family. Love you my sister from another mother - until we see each other again.

Barb was my roommate for 5 years. She was one of the smartest, most generous person I had ever known.
Her love for living life was contagious and her determination to help others was something I most admired about her. She was a get it done kinda woman. I will miss our shared laughter. Dance on my special friend. You will be missed

Barbara was the epitome of a true, loyal friend. She was an encourager, a supporter and a confidante. I was fortunate to have her as a boss, a mentor and my best friend. Barbara will be missed for smile, sense of humor, thirst for adventure and her servant's heart for others. She loved new experiences from work situations to food to travel. The world is a bit darker for us all. Thank you for being my best friend. You are so greatly missed.
My prayers and deepest condolences are with her family, friends and all her loved her.

Our deepest sympathies to the Bowman and Huston families. We are saddened and will forever miss her. Barb was a wonderful sister-in-law to me and a thoughtful and caring aunt to her nephews. She was a bright light.
I will always admire her adventurous spirit and determination to enjoy life. I'm thankful for the time together and memories shared. Love you and miss you, Barb.

Barbara was one in a million. I met her through work and was blessed with her friendship. We attended a The Cure concert one night after work. And recently visited Biltmore and the Chihuly exhibit. She was the kindest, most encouraging friend and generous in spirit. Love and condolences to her family.
