Barbara Ann Meunier

MEUNIER – Barbara Ann, 88 of Alto, New Mexico, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022. She was the wife of the late Normand O. Meunier. Barbara was the loving mother of Doug Meunier and his wife Ann Boisvert of Alto, NM, Ken Meunier and his wife Kristi (Perryman) of Alto, NM, Linda Battista of Pawtucket, RI and Paul Meunier and his wife Donna (Ryng) of Bradenton, FL and the late Michael Meunier; devoted grandmother of Lindsay Battista and her husband Corey Ferris, Liza, Alison and Adam Battista and their father Paul Battista, Glenn Meunier and his wife Dana (Cohen), Jonathan Meunier and his wife Katelyn (Saaristo) and their mother Lynne, Danae and Ryan April, Nicole DeiCicchi and her husband Anthony and Shaun Meunier and their mother Elisa; cherished great-grandmother of ten.

Born on May 16, 1934 she was a daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn (Fallon) Nolan

Barbara was born and raised in Attleboro and was a graduate of Attleboro High School. She enjoyed working for many years as a bank teller for various banks, including First Bristol County National Bank and Bank of America.

Barbara treasured raising her five children and later in her adult years caring for her own mother and aunt. She enjoyed cooking, playing bingo and shopping. Barbara spent many dinners out with her sister-in-law, Jeannette and testing her luck at the slot machines. She liked watching golf, game shows and the Patriots. Barbara enjoyed crossword puzzles, volunteering at the election polls and was an avid dog lover.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, September 19, 2022 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. following the visitation on Monday at St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 N. Main Street, Attleboro. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, 165 West St., Attleboro.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's name may be made to a dog rescue organization of your choice.
