I will miss her. Ruth was a great friend for many years of hiking, nature walks, and just getting together. And when she and George moved to Hilltop I had chance to see them often.

To George & family and Ruth’s family,
Art & I were so sorry to hear of Ruth’s passing.
We were so lucky to spend many times with Ruth & George. We had several trips together, July 4ths where they stayed overnight with us and many lunches in New London with them.
We will surely miss Ruth’s upbeat look at life.

Sorry for your loss, Ruth was a wonderful person. I recently re-connected with her on the New London Conservation Committee. Her love for the Cricenti Bog was a special one. I will think of her as I walk through the bog.

Mrs. White,
May you be guided by your angel, you were a great stern teacher never let anyone miss behave in your class.
Your assignment of family ancestry was a favorite because you were surprise I came from royal blood.
Thank-You for your teachings.

Ruth was a dear friend! She inspired me to start hiking, taking my family on our first hike up Cardigan. My son and her grandson were similar in age. We only made it to the edge of the summit rocks as it was shear ice that day. Since then I have hiked all the 4000+ at least three times and my husband and I were married a top Mt Washington in 2013, since our passion is hiking. Ruth will be missed. Her smile and energy were beautiful. In fond remembrance!

Dear George and Ruth's family - we are so very saddened to lose our special "Nana Ruth". She was an amazing woman...a supportive voice to me in my darkest hours inspiring me to be a better person...a loving and caring "step-grandmother" to Conan & Keenan. We will miss her lively spirit and undying support. May your memories of your lives with her and the support of family and friends comfort you during this time of sorrow. May she rest in peace for all eternity. Love, Maureen

Ruth was one of the most optimistic people I have ever met. She always found the best in every student she taught. I very much enjoyed teaching with her at KRMS and loved seeing her after she retired in 1995. She was so enthusiastic about her new opportunities to be outside, hike and explore. My sincere condolences to Eric, David
and families as well as George and his family. They were an exemplary pair who shared so much happiness together.

Ruth will be missed by many. Ruth had a warm smile and a big heart.
I loved seeing Ruth and George come into the Hogan Sports Center to do their workout and socialize when they were not outside enjoying their outside loves.
Fly high Ruth!!

My deepest sympathy to your families. Mrs. White was one of my very favorite teachers in 8th grade and I recall particularly how kind she was to me when my father passed away at the end of that school year.

I was fortunate enough to have many a conversation with Ruth at Tracy Library during my time there at the front desk. Ruth was a positive person and always had a smile to share...she will be missed. My thoughts and prays go out to George and family.
