Naples - Barbara A. Pangonis, born August 25, 1940, passed away September 16, 2025, in Naples, Florida. Barbara was the beloved wife of John Pangonis and devoted mother to Cindy Burns (Danny) and Renee Califano (Joe). She was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with her growing family.

A student of Lakeland College, Barbara, balanced her dedication to family with a strong commitment to her community. She was an active volunteer at both the local hospital and the chamber of commerce, generously giving her time and energy to causes close to her heart.

During the years her daughters were in college, Barbara took on a new role directing trolley tours - an endeavor that showcased her leadership and enthusiasm for connecting with others. Her outstanding culinary skills were widely admired; those who had the pleasure of enjoying her cooking often spoke of it with fondness and appreciation.

Barbara's life was marked by service, warmth and a deep love for those around her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.

A Mass of Christian burial will be in the Chapel at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church on Friday, September 26, at 11:00 A.M. Inurnment will follow Mass in the St. Agnes Catholic Church Columbarium.
