BARBARA CHAPPELEAR PERRINO  (Age 81)  
Passed away peacefully in Alexandria, Virginia on Friday, September 23, 2016.Barbara was a native Washingtonian, born in Washington, DC on August 27, 1935 to the late George E. and Dorothy Chappelear.After many years as a homemaker, her love of animals led her to a career as the owner/operator of Pets R Inn, a home based pet sitting business. She also loved cooking, was an avid reader, and found herself active in the Mt. Vernon Republican Women's Group. She spent several years as a volunteer at both the Mount Vernon Estate, as well as at her church.Barbara was the loving Mother of Virginia "Ginny" (James) Panoff, of Westlake, TX and Valerie (Charles) Tull, of St. Augustine, FL. She was also the loving grandmother to Rebecca (Douglas) Phillips of Austin, TX, Christopher (Ashley) Panoff of Dallas, TX, Lindsey (Ryan) Dunham, of St. Augustine, FL and Laura (Jordan) Kleinhans, of St. Augustine, FL, and the great-grandmother to seven.A Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, September 30, 2016 at St. Louis Catholic Church, 2907 Popkins Lane, Alexandria, VA 22306. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mount Vernon Ladies' Association PO Box 110, Mount Vernon, VA. 22121, or to the SPCA. Interment will be held privately for family.
