Barbara Powers Obituary
Born March 19, 1937, in St. Louis, MO. Barbara graduated from McKinley High School in 1955 and began a life of adventure as a military wife. She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Rainey Ray Powers, as well as by her parents, Robert and Zelma Thompson, and a younger brother, David Thompson.
Barabara is survived by five children: Randall Powers of Grapevine TX, Rhonda Powers of Memphis TN, Melody Self of Whitehouse, TX, Nancy Mickey of Bullard TX, and Robert Powers of Mabank, TX and their spouses. She has 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She also leaves two brothers, Robert Thompson of San Antonio TX and Lawerence Thompson of St Louis MO.
