Mrs. Barbara Jean Ramos

BARBARA JEAN RAMOS, 70, of Merlin died at her home on Sunday, September 18, 2011. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 26, 2011 at Chapel of the Valley – L.B. Hall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Granite Hill Cemetery. She was born November 28, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan to Gordon and Frances Branham. On December 6, 1958, in Winterhaven, California, Barbara married her childhood sweetheart, Richard Ramos, who survives. In August of 1960, Barbara gave birth to her only child, a daughter, Tina. The Family moved to Josephine County in 1965 from Azusa, California. She enjoyed painting with acrylics, crocheting, knitting, playing bingo and spending time with her family and her pets. In addition to her husband, survivors include her daughter, Tina Neelans of Merlin, two brothers, Charles Branham of Merlin, Paul Branham of Palm Bay, Florida; two sisters, Patricia Sherry of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Rayedean Ammon of Oxnard, California. A brother, Robert Branham, preceded her in death.
