Barbara M. Range

RANGE, MRS. BARBARA M. Newaygo Mrs. Barbara M. Range, age 51, passed away early Wednesday morning, November 8, 2006 at Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. She was born on September 29, 1955 in Pontiac, MI. to John & Nancy (Gault) McCabe. On March 6, 1976 she married Larry J. Range. Barb had been a clerk at the Corner Closet in Newaygo, as well as a customer service representative for Crystal Flash Energy. Also, along with her husband Larry, she owned & operated Village Green Golf Course and was a member of the hit and miss golf league at Village Green. Barb was a loving wife & mom, and is survived by her husband, Larry J. Range; her son, Jamie D. Range of Newaygo; her brother, Doug (Ellen) McCabe of Berkley, MI. and their children: Chrissy (Paul) Mellinger & their daughter Ashley, Jerry Wieczorek; her aunt & uncle, Barb & Ernie Ross; her cousin, Carol Ross; father-in-law, Joseph F. Range of Newaygo; and several brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Marie Range on October 17, 2005. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at the Newaygo VFW Post #4249 (9075 Mason Dr.) with Pastor Larry Wood officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the Gerber Memorial Health Services Patient Assistance Fund.
