It is with deep sadness that I learned of Barbara's passing - through a ski club newsletter.
My deepest sympathy to her parents.
Although we just lived "over the hill" from one another, we lost tract of each other when I started traveling more for work.
When skiing, Barbara could not just "keep up", BUT ski WITH the "big boys".
I know she was dedicated to teaching.
The world lost a good person.

Barb was a classmate at St. Bonaventure University. She was a good friend and part of a group students who created a great informal social club.
She always attended our reunions and we enjoyed her presence. She will be deeply missed by her life long friends at Bonas.
May the rain fall softly on your fields, and sun shine warmly on your face, and until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand. Requiat Et Pace.

Condolences go out to Barb's family .... she left this world far too early. She will be fondly remembered by her Bonas brothers and sisters. John "Redder" O'Brien

To the Redditt family form a member Barbara's St. Bona family: I wish all of you Peace & Goodness. We have the most wonderful memories of a good friend. As Bona students, we all knew the Prayer of St. Francis that ends '........and it is dying that we are born to eternal life'.

Part of my previous post did not go through. Miss Redditt fueled my love for science which helped me as I went on to pursue a career in nursing. She was soft spoken but always interested in you learning more. May she rest in God's love and peace.

Barbara is my Dad's cousin, and growing up, I really didn't know her. After having what I considered my worst middle school experience ever, I told my parents I was not going to continue in the public school, where I felt abandoned by friends and had to fear which hallways and bathrooms I had to use. It was Barbara, who got me an interview to Bishop Shanahan, where I was automatically accepted. Because of Barbara, I felt safer and made life long friends. It also was the starting point to receive my first communion and be confirmed. Thank you, Barbara, you truly did something wonderful, and I am forever grateful.

Ms. Redditt was a great teacher who taught me biology at Archbishop Carroll. She was passionate about science and cared enough about her students to make sure they understood the concepts. My condolences to her family and loved ones. May she rest in peace.

To the Redditt Family, my heartfelt condolances on the passing of my dear friend Barbara. As a member of the class of 1972 at St. Bonaventure I know how she loved our old school and seldom missed a reunion. And I loved our frequent Sunday a.m. talks, albeit long distance. Thoughts and prayers to all who loved her. God bless.
