Dear Julia & Marie, From the moment Barbara started at Manchester Mental Health's children & adolescent department, I knew I had a new friend. Living in the same apartment complex helped, for sure, but we soon found out we were like-minded on many topics and areas. We had little rituals, like being on the phone together on Election Day when a Presidential race was being run and calling each other on our back-to-back birthdays. Although it had been years since we had seen each other, I always counted her as one of my closest friends and confidantes. She was a faithful and devoted friend, one who loved her family, and who had a positive attitude despite her many health setbacks. I will miss her terribly.
