Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 24, 2025.
South Yarmouth - Barbara (Boudreau) Sheridan, formerly of Dedham and South Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025, at the age of 96.

Beloved wife of the late Hugh Walter Sheridan. Devoted mother of Kathleen Froio of Apex, NC and the late Joseph Froio of Dedham, Lorraine Silva and her husband John of Apex, NC, and Cotuit, Michael Sheridan and his wife Karen of Matthews, NC, Elizabeth McGonagle and her husband Edward of Falmouth, and the late Hugh Sheridan of Yarmouth, and she shared a special bond with Daniel Pitts and his wife Christine of Marshfield.

"Mimi", was the loving grandmother of Jeffrey Froio, Karen Froio, Laura Micele, Diane Johnson, David Silva, Colleen DeMille, Elise O'Meara, Matthew McGonagle, Michelle McGonagle, and Scott Sheridan. She was the proud great-grandmother of sixteen and had one great-great-grandchild.

Barbara raised her family in Dedham. A longtime employee of Sears, she rose from the position of Bath Shop Clerk to retirement as the Personnel and Payroll Manager. A member of St. Mary's Parish for many years, she enjoyed singing in the choir and served as the President of the Dedham Catholic Women's Club. In Yarmouth she was a dedicated member of the St. Pius X Church Choir and participated in the parish fundraising to open the St. Pius X School. Always willing to lend a hand, she spent countless hours actively volunteering for many worthwhile organizations including the Yarmouth Moose Lodge.

Mimi was a force of nature. She was strong, selfless, thoughtful, hardworking, and devoted to her family and friends. She never missed a birthday or special occasion without sending a thoughtful card or note and was always ready to help.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on August 4, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 72 Washington Street, Weymouth. Burial will be private.

Donations in Barbara's memory may be made to Heartland Hospice of Raleigh, 4515 Fall of Neuse Road, Suite 420, Raleigh, NC 27609.
