Barbara SONNENBERG Obituary
On Friday June 12, 2015, Barbara Sonnenberg of Edmonton passed away peacefully with family by her side at the age of 94 years.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Jerry (Dianne) and Darrell (Graciela); grandchildren, Sherry and Marcelo (Erin); great-grandchildren, Airyss, Sofia and Joaquin, siblings; Martha, Rubin (Jean), Frieda (Wally), Caroline, Helen and many other family and friends. She was predeceased by husband Fred, brothers; Edwin and Teddy.
A Private Burial will be held followed by a Celebration of Life which will be held on Wednesday June 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at West Meadows Baptist Church (9333-199 Street NW, Edmonton).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Barbara may be made to the Capital Care Norwood Hospice -TLC Legacies Living On Program.

Very sad to know Barb has passed. So glad I was able to visit with her on my resent trip to Edmonton. What privilege to have had her as part of our family. We all know how much she loved and enjoyed a good Mateluna get-together. She will be missed.

Grandma Barb or "Barbie" as some of us called her with love, will be greatly missed.

So sorry to hear of Barb's passing. She was very special to Vern and myself as through the years we often would visit to ask for advise for things that were going on in our lives. She was like a second mom to the both of us and will be greatly missed.
