My first memory of my Boga was when I first gave her that name after pointing to a picture of her. When I was a young girl, I remember her always holding me in her arms and singing me songs, most notably Amazing Grace. I remember falling asleep to her voice and then waking up and begging her to sing more. I miss my grandmother so so much. I know she is up there with our Lord and Savior, no longer suffering, but I miss her and love her with all my heart. She was always there for me through everything, going out of her way to call me and talk to me when I felt all alone. She was my biggest supporter and my guiding light, showing me kindness and teaching me about the Lord. She was the one that stood in front of the Sunday school doors as I yelled about how Jesus was my Lord and savior and I had accepted him into my heart. I truly believe without her, I would not have this close relationship with God. She was so many things in life, so strong and so happy even through everything. She always made me laugh with her silly dramatics and never failed to make me smile with every out of this world gift she got me for the holidays when she truly was the gift herself. I will always remember her voice soothing me and speaking to me about the world around us, singing me songs or even her voice mails that I always joked were hours long. You were so very kind and nurturing, loving us and the Lord no matter what. There are so many fond memories I find myself looking back on with so much love. I love you so much Boga and I thank you for everything you gave me. I will cherish your memory for however long I am here on this Earth and I know I will see you again one day and greet you with open arms. I am so very blessed to have had you as my grandmother and I love you to the moon and back. - Alieen Grace Gilliam

Marcia and George Wolfe
January 22, 2024
George and I are deeply saddened to hear about the loss of our dear friend, Barb. We met Barb and Dick on an Alaska cruise and we remained forever friends. We will always remember her wonderful laugh and the kindness and love she poured out to us; we feel blessed to have known her. We will cherish the memories of the fun times we´ve had together. She dearly loved her family and her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. Our deepest condolences and prayers are with you all. Love, Marcia & George Wolfe
