Beloved wife and soulmate of 68 years to James 'Jim' Sullivan, dear daughter of the late Salvatore 'Sam' Galluzzo and Mary (n�e Rini) Galluzzo, loving mother to Maribeth (Brian) Mordini, Kathryn (the late Stefano) Alvera, Laurie (Devin) Heinz & Jamie (Tim) Phillips, adored sister to Gloria (the late George) Shlaes and Carlotta (Wayne) Daniels, cherished grandmother to Abby Heinz, Lucas and Samantha Phillips, sweet aunt and cousin to many.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in her honor on Saturday, December 14th, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 121 E. Maple Avenue, Libertyville. Pre-mass visitation at 9:15 a.m., funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. with celebration of life following at the home of Devin & Laurie Heinz.
Memorial donations in her name may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. We will miss her and love her always.
Eternal rest, grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God resit in peace. Amen.

My first memory of Aunt Barbara was when I was 5 years old, my father and I had just flown in from Seattle and she made a big breakfast for us. She introduced me to the family dog at that time Kahlua. Aunt Barbara was always so welcoming, I loved her big smile. We shared recipes over the years. She will be greatly missed.

Barb was always sweet and understanding to me. Barb told mom and dad that she wanted to graduate from college. One day a handsome guy came hone with from a date. And after dating for a year, she told mom and dad that she was going to marry him.
