Nell A. Jubanowsky

Nell A. Jubanowsky, 90, of Toms River, N.J., passed away peacefully at her home on June 29, 2013. Visitation will be on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Family-Owned Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main St., Toms River. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Stephen's Ukrainian Church of Toms River. Burial will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge, N.J. Condolences can be sent to carmonabolenfh.com. Born in Olyphant, Pa., Nell previously resided in Berkeley Heights, N.J., for 33 years before moving to Toms River in 1987. She worked as a cafeteria manager for the Berkeley Heights Board of Education for 15 years before retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. Stephen's Ukrainian Church, Toms River, where she was the past president of the Altar Rosary Society and a member of the choir. She was a member of the Southwind Chorus and the Ukrainian-American Club of Toms River. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, in 2004. Surviving are her daughters, Patricia Bauer, Manahawkin, N.J.; Gloria Johnson, Stockholm, N.J., and Sally Cadmus, Gillette, N.J; her brother, Eugene Zinsky, Dickson City, Pa.; her sisters, Helen Hrycyshyn, Springfield, N.J., and Evelyn Trently, Troop, Pa.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
