Barbara Tuberville Obituary
Waskom, TX- Funeral services celebrating the life of Barbara Ann Moore Tuberville, 75, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 23, 2012 in the sanctuary of Shreveport Community Church. Officiating will be Pastor Denny Duron. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Barbara was born on November 1, 1937 in Overton, TX and went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 19, 2012. She was a graduate of Provencal High School. Barbara was a retired nurse in the Recovery Unit at Willis Knighton South Hospital. Mrs. Tuberville was a faithful member of Shreveport Community Church.
Mrs. Tuberville was preceded in death by her parents, Orie Moore and Sue Keller; one sister, Dessie Moore and one brother, Delma Moore.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Barbara is her husband of 56 years, J. D. Tuberville; three children, Denise Roan and husband Rick, Dr. J. Durell Tuberville and wife Susan, Darla Costlow and husband Monty; five grandchildren, Josh Tuberville and wife, Claleigh, Dustin Tuberville and wife Lindsey, Natalie Patton and husband Matt, Kristal Holder and husband Gary, Rachel Curtis and husband Jason; 8 great grandchildren, Colton, Josh, Jackson, Cash, Tristan, Eli, Dessie and Creed; and one brother, Gaylon Moore.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Schendimann and Dr. Le, Hospice of Marshall, Texas and her loving caregivers, Amy Webb, Renee Bush and Kelli Simmons for all the care and compassion shown to Mrs. Tuberville.
Honoring Mrs. Tuberville as pallbearers will be her grandsons: Josh Tuberville, Dustin Tuberville, Matt Patton, Gary Holder, Jason Curtis and special friend, James Swartz.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to Shreveport Community Church, 5720 Buncombe Road, Shreveport, LA 71129 or the Muscular Dystrophy Association, National Headquarters, 3300 Sunrise Drive, Tucson, AZ 85718.

I just read of Barbara's passing. You may not remember me, but we attended the Free Methodist Church and I knew your family when I was a teenager (long time ago!). I remember Barbara as such a sweet-natured person. Bro. Johnny Dunn is music minister where I attend church now and had put her on our prayer list. Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss, but know that she's at home and happy in Heaven.
