Barbara N. Williams, 86 of West Chester, PA died Thursday June 22, 2017 at St. Martha Manor in Downingtown.
She was the wife of the late John M. Williams Sr.
Born November 15, 1930 in West Chester, PA she was the daughter of the late Thomas Edward Norris and the late Anna Durnell Norris.
Barbara had worked as a Social Worker for the Department of Welfare. She was an avid painter and craftsperson. Barbara belonged to many social organizations and was a board member for Habitat for Humanity and the YWCA.
She is survived by her son, John M. Williams, Jr. brother, Edward Norris, Sr., grandchildren, Janine Cain, Anna Witherspoon, great grandchildren, Samuel Lee Cain, III and Samaya Marie Cain.
She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Maya Buseman-Williams
Relatives and Friends are invited to her Graveside Service at 10:00 am on Tuesday June 27, 2017 to St. Agnes Cemetery 1050 Pottstown Pike West Chester PA 19380

I will miss her always friendly and upbeat conversation. I had my law practice on West Chestnut Street in West Chester for many years and really enjoyed catching up with Barbara. She will be greatly missed. My condolences to her family and friends. Bob Frame
