He was born Dec. 30, 1964 in Groton, Conn. to Alex and Mary (Ruffner) Edwards. Mr. Edwards was employed by the Medtronic Corp. A 1983 graduate of Kittanning High School, he graduated from Geneva College and Cardiovascular Technology at Fairfax Hospital, Fairfax, Va. He was a member of the Harvest Community Church. He was also a member of the Kittanning Country Club, where he participated in the weekly golf league; and the Thursday Night Bowling League at Greendale Tavern. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and golf. He coached midget football while living in Maryland. He was a very devoted father and husband. Survivors include his parents of Kittanning; his wife, Brenda Edwards; two daughters, Courtney and Cassidy, both at home; one brother, Ron Edwards and wife Jackie of Westminster, Md.; one nephew, Austin; and one niece, Ashlee. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; and one sister, Roxanne M. Edwards. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. Additional visitation will be held from 10:30 until funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Harvest Community Church, 523 Butler Road, Kittanning with his pastor, the Rev. Bert Jones, assisted by the Rev. Nelson Krute, officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, East Franklin Township.
