I knew Barry from hockey.I played with him on the Westmount High team. We had the only two brown helmets on the team. We also played some wicked ball hockey games. We had a lot of laughs. I was saddened to hear of his passing and I extend my deepest sympathies to his family, especially Bev whom I knew my last year at Westmount High.

I was saddened to learn recently of Barry's passing. We were good friends in our high school days and I have very fond memories of fun times with Barry enjoying the early Beatles music and playing sports. Barry was a gifted athlete back then and excelled in football and hockey, playing on a line with me on the WHS senior hockey team that won the city championship in the mid 60's. Unfortunately we lost touch after high school and in recent years was unable to make contact with him in San Diego. I extend my deepest sympathies to his Mum, Bev, Debbie and rest of the family.

Barry was a long time member of our Friday Night Happy Hour crowd in San Diego. I know I speak for our entire group that we will miss him deeply.
To Barry's Mom, Debbie and Bev, thanks for sharing him with us - even if it was too short a time.

I first met Barry when he started classes at Westmount High School, having just arrived from Sarnia, and we became the best of friends, sharing many good times, including a memorable New Years Eve party with his family and their friends.
As so often happens, we went our separate ways and fell out of touch; it was only recently that I heard that he was in San Diego, although I did not know that he was ill.
My sincere condolences go out to Bev, Deb, and the rest of his family - he was a great guy and I am sure you will miss him a lot.

Barry, although we hadn't been in touch for many years until recently, I will miss you. The good die young. My sincere condolences to Bev, Debbie and your nieces and nephews. Fondly, Pablo

All I have are fun filled memories listening with Barry to the new releases of Allman Brothers and the Beatles almost 40 years ago in sister Bev's lining room.
And of course his art. Still have a neo-Dali of his.
We lived close to each other but never reconnected- too late now.
A creative and fun soul is what I remember.
